Veranda Card

A card (made with Veranda paper, stamps used: a tweet, and Authentic) I made for a sweet friend Carol!! She was diagnosed with breast cancer. After having pain in her breast she had her mammogram early. The cancer was found very very early and was contained in the duct. She had surgery last week!! And she has her own "gang" of men and women and children who love her and are standing and BELIEVING GOD with her that she will not need any further treatment for this! And that cancer is finished in her life!! 1 Peter 2:24 says that by Jesus stripes she was healed!! God speaks to us-that thought-feeling- that knowing!(do you know what Im talking about??)-dont ever ignore it-your life could depend on it!!

Congrats to graduates!! My friend Alex graduated this past weekend. We have known her since she was 6 years old. This past winter we went out and played around and I took some photos of her. (then my friend Ali Brown added her editing genius touch to it!) And so I scrapbooked this page for Alex. And I also made her this little card to go with it!

I made this simple circle card using Close To My Hearts new stamp set A Flitter. I also used the paper from Cherry-O creative basics. I got this card pattern from Wishes (Inner Court, pg. 67)

My layout with Top stitch, of my precious Peyton who turned 8 in February!! I'm crazy about my Peyton and this paper!! Pink and brown are always yummy together!! Don't you think?

We celebrate You, JESUS, with hearts full of praise and gratitude for who You are and all You've done for us! Did you know our sin separated us from God, we were sentenced to hell for eternity, Jesus was crazy in love with us, and He stepped in and paid the price that our sin deserved! He suffered and died for you and me! His resurrection is the proof of His payment! Jesus the Son of God is alive and we are forgiven!! He longs to have a close relationship with each of us! Have you chosen Him to be your personal Lord and Savior? Today is great day to call on Him and be saved! Has your heart drifted away from Him, draw near to Him and He will draw near to you!!

My Wishes card!

So with a crazy life and a computer that has been very dysfunctional-my blog and time to create have been on the back burner. So things are settling down a bit, I have been making a little time to create, and a new computer will be here soon!! I thought Id post this card I made last week!! I love the card on the Wishes Book cover-so here is my version, using Topstitch!!
